County Commissioner: George Bush

Commissioner George A. Bush (Republican)  has served as a member of the Clay County Commission since 1992 and was re-elected overwhelmingly in 1996 and 2000.  George is 57 years old, born in Palatka, Florida, and is the President of Bush-Thompson Insurance of Orange Park, Middleburg and Jacksonville. George is a Certified Insurance Counselor designated by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, Austin, Texas, Licensed as General Lines (220) Agent in Florida and Georgia and an owner partner in BAR Properties, office building rentals. His present term runs from November, 2004 to November, 2008.  George  is married to Pamela, a Clay County School teacher, and is the proud father of  four children.
