8
|
- Category 3+ Evacuation Zones
All areas included in the Category 1 and 2 evacuation zone
- Areas North of the Black Creek and East of Pine Avenue
- Areas East of the railroad tracks
along Doctors Lake Dr & North across Kingsley Avenue to the Clay
County line.
- This includes everything East of Pine Avenue on Fleming Island and
everything East of Hwy 17 from the bridge to Hibernia Road.
Special Considerations
In the event of a Category 3 or greater storm passing through
Northeast Florida, the areas along Black Creek would be evacuated.
Because of the delayed effects of flooding in this area, once ordered,
an evacuation would remain in effect for a minimum of 72 hours.
